OBITUARY
Born in Denver, CO to parents Charles and Alvina Blanchard. He had one brother, Dave Blanchard, who also lived in California. He met Marie Gellner in Denver Colorado, and they were married in 1964 and stayed married for 59 years.
Ken loved cars and enjoyed working on cars and racing cars in his younger days. He was an auto mechanic and worked at Stanford Lincoln Mercury dealership in Menlo Park for 30 years.
He lived with his wife in Northern California for 50 years and then moved to San Diego to be closer to his son and his family.
He is survived by his wife Marie, son David, daughter-in-law Michelle and grandchildren Grace and Nick.
Funeral service open to the public Friday, December 13 at Saint Gabrial Church in Poway at 10am.
