The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation San Diego Guild Luncheon was held May 9 at the Santaluz Club.

The event brought together community leaders, philanthropists, and supporters to raise awareness and funds in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Their mission is to fund research and drug development, while partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality specialized care to all those living with CF, according to a news release.

The San Diego Guild Luncheon provided an afternoon of shopping, inspiration, and philanthropy. Attendees enjoyed a delightful meal, a captivating speech from Dylan Mortimer, talented artist and CF fighter, and an exciting auction. All proceeds from the event benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

CBS News 8 Anchor Marcella Lee emceed the event. Barbara Fischbein is the Guild founder and chair of the luncheon.
