Portland Public Schools agrees to sell HQ to Albina Vision Trust for redevelopment
The Portland school board voted unanimously on Tuesday to sell the school district’s headquarters to Albina Vision Trust, a nonprofit spearheading the redevelopment of Portland’s historic Lower Albina neighborhood.
In exchange for selling the property, the nonprofit will help the school district purchase a new headquarters in downtown Portland. Because the replacement property hasn’t been identified, the timeline for the sale remains unclear.
