Partygoers throw bottles, cans at police near Univ. of Oregon: ‘A complete embarrassment’
EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police say officers had glass bottles and canned meals thrown at them after they tried to interrupt up a celebration that drew as many as 1,000 folks to a neighborhood close to the College of Oregon. Eugene Police Chief Chris Skinner stated the weekend get together included underage drinkers, college-age people and their dad and mom. Skinner referred to as the get together a humiliation for these concerned and stated the tried assault on officers was inexcusable.
