Oregon Zoo baby elephant soon to make her public debut
PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Good news if you’ve been itching to see the newest baby elephant at the Oregon Zoo, she will be making her debut this week.
Tula-Tu will make her debut Friday, Feb. 21.
She and the rest of the herd will be inside Forest Hall, the indoor portion of the zoo’s elephant habitat.
Previous Coverage:
Tula-Tu was born on Feb. 1, and is Oregon Zoo elephant Rose-Tu’s third calf.
Visitors will be able to see Tula-Tu between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily, with limited capacity at Forest Hall, and the zoo says they may close the area if Rose and her calf need some quiet time.
