Oregon women’s basketball in top 20 of preseason AP poll
The Oregon Geese ladies’s basketball workforce will open the 2022-23 season within the high 20.
The Geese landed at No. 20 with 206 factors within the preseason AP ballot, the sixth consecutive season they’ll open the season ranked within the AP Ballot.
Oregon is one in all three ranked groups from the Pac-12, becoming a member of No. 2 Stanford and No. 19 Arizona. Utah, UCLA and Washington State additionally acquired votes.
The Geese are one in all seven applications to be ranked in every of the final six AP preseason polls, joined by Baylor, Louisville, Maryland, South Carolina, Stanford and UConn. It’s the 86th time Oregon has been ranked within the AP ballot throughout coach Kelly Graves’ tenure.
Oregon hosts Carroll Faculty in an exhibition sport Oct. 28 at 6 p.m., then opens the common season in opposition to Northwestern on Nov. 7 (3 p.m.).
