Oregon man who pleaded guilty to accessing violent child porn sentenced to probation, weekend jail time

An Oregon man pleaded responsible to accessing and importing baby sexual assault supplies, and was sentenced to probation and weekend jail that he’ll serve “at his comfort.”

Scott Johnson, 27, pleaded responsible on Wednesday to a few counts of Encouraging Baby Sexual Abuse within the First Diploma.

The plea settlement ends a two-year investigation into Johnson for baby pornography allegations.

In January 2021, the St. Helens Police Division was tipped by the Oregon Division of Justice about baby pornography being uploaded in St. Helens from a Kik messaging account. Detectives recognized Johnson as a suspect, and search warrants have been executed.
