Oregon lawmakers announce $3 million in new rental assistance funding
OREGON. (KPTV) – Oregon lawmakers introduced greater than $3 million in extra rental help funding in a launch Tuesday.
The funding follows Gov. Tina Kotek declaring a “Homelessness State of Emergency” following her inauguration and unveiling a $130 million finances plan.
“This funding comes at a vital time for Oregonians dealing with the tightest rental market in many years,” stated Congressman Earl Blumenauer, “For years, I’ve labored to make the federal authorities a greater associate with native communities to unravel the housing disaster.”

The funding shall be damaged down between the Oregon Housing and Neighborhood Providers ($2,034,948.16) and the Metropolis of Portland ($1,107,256.77).
