Oregon baseball drops series opener at Washington State
Oregon was out-pitched and out-hit in a series-opening loss to Washington State.
Jace Stoffal allowed 5 runs on six hits and 4 walks and in simply 3.1 innings in a 7-1 Geese loss to the Cougars Friday afternoon at Bailey-Brayton Subject in Pullman.
Washington State (14-3, 3-1 Pac-12) obtained on the board by way of back-to-back doubles and a two-run residence run within the second.
