It’s been fairly a productive offseason for former Oregon Geese offensive assistant Viane Talamaivao.
After spending the 2022 season in Eugene working as a graduate assistant on the offensive line underneath Adrian Klemm, Talamaivao accepted the job as OL coach for Northern Arizona this offseason. Nevertheless, on Monday it was reported by On3’s Matt Zenitz that Talamaivao will really be taking the OL teaching job for the Stanford Cardinal as an alternative.
It is a massive step up for the previous Oregon assistant, who will now take over as the highest OL coach on a Energy 5 faculty within the Pac-12. Talamaivao will work underneath head coach Troy Taylor, who’s taking on the Cardinal after David Shaw stepped down this offseason.

After Klemm left the Geese for a job with the New England Patriots final month, it was briefly thought that Oregon may attain out to Talamaivao to return again to Eugene to take over because the OL coach, however Dan Lanning as an alternative selected to deliver A’lique Terry again to Oregon.
