Eastern Oregon development authority rescinds contract with La Grande firm

BOARDMAN — Greg Smith, Columbia Growth Authority’s govt director, lately despatched an uncommon letter to the engineering agency of Anderson Perry & Associates of La Grande.

Smith needed to halt a half-million-dollar contract as a result of the transaction was improperly awarded.

“Anderson Perry & Associates, Inc., is to right away stop any additional efficiency,” the letter stated.
