Richard Pitino will have another familiar face jumping from New Mexico to Xavier.
Jovan Milicevic, a 6-foot-10 freshman forward, announced on Saturday he would be joining his former head coach with the Musketeers.
Milicevic played in 34 games for the Lobos this season, starting in three contests. He averaged 3.8 points and 2.0 rebounds per game while shooting 48.4% from the field and 45.8% on three-point shots.
He reached double digit points on four occasions, including a 21-point game in New Mexico’s 122-70 win over Western New Mexico. The forward played 13 minutes total in New Mexico’s two NCAA Tournament games, scoring three points with a pair of rebounds.
Milicevic was a three-star prospect to New Mexico out of Ontario, Canada.
