Two New Mexico seniors earn academic honor

Two excellent New Mexico seniors have been chosen for a prime educational honor this week.

Isabel McCabe, a homeschooled pupil from Albuquerque, and Quinn Ennis of Albuquerque Academy, have been chosen as New Mexico’s U.S. Presidential Students this 12 months. They have been amongst 161 high-school seniors chosen to obtain Presidential medallions.

“Our 2022 Presidential Students characterize one of the best of America, and remind us that, when empowered by training, there are not any limits to what our younger folks can obtain,” U.S. Secretary of Training Miguel Cardona mentioned in a information launch. “Because of them, I do know America’s future is shiny.”

College students can apply provided that they’re invited to this system, in line with the U.S. Division of Training’s web site. Invites are primarily based on SAT or ACT exams scores and nominations.
