SUV drives into New Mexico parade, injuring multiple people
GALLUP, N.M. — An individual in a big SUV drove by means of a parade in New Mexico on Thursday, injuring a number of individuals together with two cops.
State Police Lt. Mark Soriano stated nobody was killed within the incident within the metropolis of Gallup and he could not elaborate on the extent of the accidents, the Albuquerque Journal reported.
New Mexico State Police stated on Twitter that the motive force was in custody they usually have been investigating the incident.
“A number of individuals, together with two Gallup PD officers, injured and are being handled on scene,” the tweet stated.
The parade was a part of celebrations for the Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial, which was based in 1922 to honor Native American and Indigenous heritage.
