ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — PNM has become the latest utility company in New Mexico to provide relief for federal employees during the government shutdown.

PNM has suspended disconnections for customers who are furloughed federal employees. If you’re a furloughed employee who received a disconnect notice, you can submit a “Furloughed Federal Employee Special Consideration Request” form to request additional time to pay your PNM bill.

PNM is also encouraging you to reach out to them if you’re a federal employee facing financial hardship. They also have payment arrangements and assistance programs for qualified customers.

To access the aforementioned form and learn about other resources, go to PNM.com/help.
