NMSU mixes work & fun as preparation for New Mexico Bowl continues – KVIA
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico – It was a mix of both work and fun for the New Mexico State football team Thursday in the Duke City.
The Aggies are preparing for Saturday’s showdown against Fresno State in the New Mexico Bowl.
The day started with a practice at the University of New Mexico football practice facility.
Players from both teams then went to a local elementary school to play games with students and also sign autographs.
They then went to an Albuquerque children’s hospital to meet with patients.
In the evening, it was time to have some fun.
Both teams gathered at the Albuquerque Convention Center for a team dinner.
They then played a game of Family Feud with the Aggies coming out victorious over the Bulldogs.
Hopefully that will prove to be a good omen for what’s to come Saturday.
The New Mexico Bowl will kickoff Saturday at 3:45 p.m. from University Stadium in Albuquerque.
The game will be televised on ESPN.
