The brackets are set for the New Mexico high school football playoffs.
The first round is set for this coming weekend.
In Class 6A, No. 7 Las Cruces will entertain No. 10 Los Lunas. Centennial earned the No. 2 seed and a bye to the quarterfinals where they will play the winner of Las Cruces High and Los Lunas.
The other first-round matchups include No. 11 Farmington at No. 6 Volcano Vista, No. 12 West Mesa at No. 5 Rio Rancho and No. 9 Clovis at No. 8 Hobbs.
Rio Rancho Cleveland is the No. 1 seed, La Cueva is the No. 3 seed and Sandia is the No. 4 seed.
In Class 5A, Gadsden earned the No. 8 seed and entertains No. 9 Mayfield this coming weekend. The winner visits No. 1 Roswell in the quarterfinals.
Other first-round games include No. 12 Belen at No. 5 Deming, No. 11 Manzano at No. 6 Valley and No. 10 Highland at No. 7 Los Alamos.
The other teams who get a bye to the quarterfinals are No. 2 Artesia, No. 3 Piedra Vista and No. 4 Roswell Goddard.
In Class 4A, Bloomfield is the No. 1 seed, Lovington is the No. 2 seed, Silver is No. 3 and Portales is No. 4.
First-round games include No. 10 St. Pius X at No. 7 Espanola Valley, No. 11 Taos at No. 6 Aztec, No. 12 Valencia at No. 5 Bernalillo and No. 9 Albuquerque Academy at No. 8 Grants.
In Class 3A, St. Michael’s is the No. 1 seed, Las Vegas Robertson is the No. 2 seed, Cobre is the No. 3 seed, and West Las Vegas is the No. 4 seed.
First-round games are No. 10 Hope Christian at No. 7 Socorro, No. 11 Hatch Valley at No. 6 Dexter, No. 12 Navajo Prep at No. 5 NMMI and No. 9 Raton at No. 8 Thoreau.
In Class 2A, the eight-team field has four quarterfinal games: No. 1 Eunice vs. No. 8 Escalante, No. 5 Tularosa at No. 4 Jal, No. 6 Loving at No. 3 Santa Rosa and No. 7 Estancia at No. 2 Texico.
