Higher fire danger expected Friday in New Mexico

We’re in for another warm day but breezy conditions and low humidity will kick up the fire danger. See the latest conditions at KOB.com/Weather.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — We’re expecting another warm and dry day that, along with some breezy conditions, will kick up the fire danger Friday in New Mexico.

A high wind warning is in effect for places like Las Vegas where winds could gust up to 50-60 mph. A red flag warning is also in effect there and in places like northeastern New Mexico and places like Gallup and Grants.
