Four killed in sheriff’s department helicopter crash in New Mexico

July 17 (Reuters) – 4 individuals have been killed when a sheriff’s division helicopter crashed in New Mexico as they have been coming back from serving to firefighters deal with a wildfire, officers mentioned.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s workplace mentioned three personnel from the sheriff’s workplace and one worker from the Bernalillo County Fireplace Division have been on board the helicopter, which crashed late on Saturday close to the town of Las Vegas, New Mexico.

“There aren’t any recognized survivors. These personnel have been headed again to Albuquerque after helping fireplace crews with the East Mesa fireplace,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.

An investigation into the crash was in its preliminary levels, the workplace mentioned.
