Spill shuts down gasoline pipeline serving Southern Nevada

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Emergency managers in Clark County are monitoring a leak in a California gasoline pipeline that feeds Southern Nevada.

The pipeline delivers unleaded and diesel gas to gasoline storage services in Southern Nevada, a county spokesperson said on Friday.

Emergency managers “consider we’ve satisfactory provide, and don’t anticipate an instantaneous influence on gasoline availability,” the spokesperson wrote.

In an announcement to KTNV, Kinder Morgan Vitality Companions mentioned their investigation at Watson Station in Watson, Calif. started at 4 p.m. on Thursday. The station, together with related SFPP West and CALNEV pipelines had been “remoted and shut down whereas we work to resolve this challenge,” the corporate mentioned.
