North Las Vegas Boys & Girls Club receives grant for revitalization
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The North Las Vegas community is getting a new look at the Boys and Girls Club.
Republic Services teamed up with Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada to repair the James Club.
Approximately 80 Republic Services volunteers joined in landscaping and painting the facility’s gym on Saturday.

The revitalization project included updating the flooring in the facility and constructing improvements to the cafeteria in supporting the organization’s meal program.
“Organizations like Boys & Girls Club are essential to a thriving neighborhood, and we are happy to revitalize this space as well, so that local families can continue to rely on their invaluable youth resources,” said Bob Cleveland, CEO of Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada.
Republic Services Charitable Foundation provided a $150,000 National Neighborhood Promise grant to host the project.
