Nevada Mo. Police arrest man, “running through yards yelling that he was going to abduct children” – KOAM

Police allege, Jason O. Clark, 45, the day prior entered a house and assaulted a teen in her bed room.

NEVADA, Mo. — Within the early morning hours of Friday, April 22, Nevada Police have been alerted to a residence within the 1100 block of N. Clay Road for a reported assault that had simply occurred.

Investigation revealed a male topic, later recognized as Jason Omar Clark, 45, had unlawfully entered a house and attacked a 14-year-old feminine.

Based on a Possible Trigger Affidavit filed, the teenager said, “an unknown white male got here in via the entrance door. [Teen] instructed us that Jason adopted her into her room, pushed her down on her mattress by her throat and commenced stuffing one thing into her mouth.”

The next day, April 23, NPD have been alerted to, “a report of a male working via yards yelling that he was going to abduct kids.

Officers made contact with the male who fled on foot. After a quick chase and inserting him in cuffs he said his identify was Gator and that he was a King.

A hatchet was present in his waistband.

Investigation later revealed the reporting social gathering referred to as police as a result of the male, recognized as Clark, had jumped a neighbor’s fence the place two boys have been taking part in.

The boys instructed police a person jumped into their yard and said, “drop by take children.” They boys fled into their residence and the mom and neighbor noticed Clark flee, then referred to as authorities.

The mom, “confirmed she knew a Jason Clark, however said she didn’t need him in her yard however didn’t need to press fees right now.”

Clark was charged this week with a number of felonies in Vernon County:

  • Felony Housebreaking 1st
  • Felony Kidnapping
  • Felony Abuse or Neglect of a Little one
  • Felony Resisting Arrest
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Little one (2X)

Clark is being held within the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $250,000 cash-only bond.
