Nevada man accused of abandoning dog at dump, poisoning another

Nevada authorities have accused an 85-year-old man of abandoning a canine at a dump and poisoning one other one.

Apolonio Aniceto of Pahrump is charged with two counts of felony animal abuse. 

The Nye County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned a tip led them to Aniceto’s residence after they discovered a canine left to die at an area dump. They mentioned Aniceto took the canine there and left her.

Investigators mentioned throughout his arrest, they discovered a second canine that was “in dangerous form and struggling some kind of unknown medical challenge.”

The second canine was taken to an emergency room and needed to be euthanized on account of anti-freeze poisoning. 

Aniceto was booked into the Nye County Detention Middle.
