Spring games are always a great offseason event, giving fans a chance to see the newest players on the roster, as well has returning players who have worked to improve in the months since last season.
One thing that nobody wants to see, though, is an injury.
Unfortunately, that’s what happened for former Oregon Ducks running back Sean Dollars at the Nevada Wolfpack spring game on Saturday. Near the end of the scrimmage, Dollars reportedly suffered an upper-body injury that required him to be taken off of the field on a stretcher.
Fortunately, Dollars’ family has said on social media that the RB is “doing well” and in the recovery process.
After spending four seasons at Oregon, Dollars transferred to Nevada, where he was a prominent figure in the offense for the 2023 season, rushing for 527 yards and six touchdowns. He projects to be the starting RB for the Wolfpack in 2024, assuming that he can return from this injury.
Here is some more information and reaction on social media Sunday afternoon.
