Former Nevada business owner, salesman sentenced in fraud scheme case

Two males from Nevada have been sentenced to jail on Friday for conspiring to defraud the IRS over ten years in the past. Saud Alessa was sentenced to 13 months in jail whereas hisco-conspiratorJeffrey Bowen was sentenced to 60 days in jail. After a federal jury trial in November 2021, Alessa and Bowen have been each convicted on the conspiracy cost, and Alessa additionally was convicted on tax evasion and false tax return costs.
