One of Taylor Sheridan’s newest “Yellowstone” spinoffs is almost here.

Paramount+ released the first teaser for “The Madison” on Sunday, giving fans their first look at Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell in action as Stacy and Preston Clyburn.

Described as a “profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation,” the neo-Western series follows the Clyburns after they relocate from New York City to the Madison River valley of central Montana.

“My center, my soul, is gone,” Pfeiffer, 67, says through tears in the new trailer.

“You will heal, if you let yourself,” Will Arnett, who is guest-starring in the show as therapist Phil Yorn, responds.

The rest of the short teaser features Russell’s Preston kissing Pfeiffer’s character and fishing with his on-screen brother, Paul Clyburn (Matthew Fox), in the Madison River.

“What do I have?” Russell, 74, asks. “Before I’m too old to do anything more than just remember.”

The final scene of the trailer returns to Pfeiffer’s Stacy as she sits on a porch talking with Beau Garrett’s Abigail Reese.

“I’ve decided to feed this,” the “Scarface” star says while patting her heart and pointing at her head, “and never factor this into the equation.”

“The Madison” teaser trailer was released shortly after Paramount+ shared a series of first-look photos from Sheridan’s upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoff on Friday.

One first-look photo showed Pfeiffer’s character sitting on a porch reading, while another showed her holding a mug as Garett’s Abigail stood in a doorway in the background.

Russell and Fox, meanwhile, were shown fishing on the Madison River in one still while sitting on rocks and enjoying drinks together in another.

The cast of “The Madison” is rounded out by “Suits” star Patrick J. Adams (Russell McIntosh), Elle Chapman (Paige McIntosh), Alaina Pollack (Macy Reese) and Amiah Miller (Bridgett Reese).

“3 Body Problem” actor Ben Schnetzer (Van Davis), Danielle Vasinova (Kestrel Harris) and Kevin Zegers (Cade Harris) will also appear.

Paramount+ called “The Madison” Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date” and a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection.”

The show’s six-episode first season, which begins streaming on Saturday, March 14, will unfold “across two distinct worlds – the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan – as it examines the ties that bind families together.”

“The Madison” isn’t the only new spinoff that “Yellowstone” fans can expect after the original show’s fifth and final season came to an end in Dec. 2024.

“Marshals,” which is scheduled to premiere on CBS on March 1, will follow Luke Grimes’ “Yellowstone” character Kayce Dutton as he joins a specialized group of US Marshals tasked with protecting Montana.

Another spinoff, titled “The Dutton Ranch,” will see Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their roles of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler when the series hits Paramount+ sometime later this year.

Paramount is said to be developing two additional spinoffs despite Sheridan’s recent and surprising exit from the network: another prequel series titled “1944” and a project following actor Jefferson White’s “Yellowstone” character called “6666.”

White, however, suggested that “6666” may not happen during an interview last month.

Although newly minted GOP candidates for the U.S. House and U.S. Senate have garnered heavyweight endorsements, the Montana Republican Party said Thursday it won’t throw its support behind any candidates for federal office in the primary.

“The Montana Republican Party (MTGOP) stands behind its deep bench of qualified candidates seeking to represent Montanans and supports a competitive primary process to let voters pick their preferred candidates,” the Montana GOP said in a news release Thursday.

Monday, U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke announced he was retiring due to health concerns once his term ends, and he immediately tapped talk-show host Aaron Flint as his preferred successor in Congress.

Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen and Flathead County Republican Central Committee Chairperson Al Olszewski also filed for the U.S. House as Republicans, as did Ray Curtis of Bonner.

Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Steve Daines withdrew, and in a statement the same night, announced an endorsement of former U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme, who had filed the same day.

In the Senate, Lee Calhoun and Charles Walking Child also filed to run in the Republican primary.

Endorsements for Flint and Alme cascaded. U.S. President Donald Trump endorsed both candidates, and U.S. Sen. Tim Sheehy and Gov. Greg Gianforte threw their weight behind Flint and Alme.

Late on Wednesday, the Montana GOP did not immediately have comment on the news Daines, Montana’s senior U.S. senator, had resigned, but Thursday, the party thanked Zinke and Daines for their service.

A news release said the party would not endorse any candidates in the federal primary and would leave the job in the hands of voters.

“The party hopes every candidate will make their case to the public, contrasting their Republican policies and principles with those of Democrats — as well as phony ‘Independents,’” the news release said.

Former University of Montana President Seth Bodnar announced a run for the U.S. Senate as an independent this week.

A tension within the Republican party has emerged in recent years between hardline conservatives and more moderate members, and some legislative primaries illustrate the split.

This week, the state GOP said the number of primaries for state legislative seats shows a high interest from Montanans who want to serve the state and pass Republican policy, and the MTGOP “is glad to see so many Republicans being called to public service.”

In a brief call, MTGOP spokesperson Ethan Holmes said the party had not ruled out endorsements in legislative primaries.

In the news release, however, the MTGOP offered its view of the larger political debate.

“Montana voters know that beyond the primaries, there is a clear choice between Republican and Democratic governance; one path leads to lower taxes, less crime and stronger families, and the other leads to higher taxes, more crime, and social decay,” MTGOP Chairperson Art Wittich said in a statement.

The news release also said the state GOP is working “tirelessly to deliver a Bright Red Future” at both the state and federal level and looks forward to help candidates whom voters select win in November.
