Help These Two Montana Dogs Find A Happy Home

Happy Wet Nose Wednesday Montana!

This week at Stafford Animal Shelter I would love to introduce you to two of the sweetest sisters of all the land.

These two little sweethearts are only 10 months old and are learning super quickly how to be the best little girls.

First let’s meet the fun and outgoing first sister, Arrow.

Arrow is a playful girl who loves to explore and is super curious about the world. She’s still learning her basic commands and how to walk nicely on a leash, but with a bit of patience and some tasty treats, she’ll get there in no time. Arrow would love a home where she can run around and have lots of fun.

Nala, the second sister, is also super sweet and playful as well!

Nala loves to cuddle after a good play session and is always ready for affection. Like Arrow, Nala is working on her basic commands and leash walking. She’s a quick learner and loves snacks, so she’ll thrive with a family ready to spend a little time teaching her.

Both of the sisters agreed that if they have to go to different homes, they would be ok with it. Having their own rooms doesn’t sound that bad to them.

One of the best ways to experience Montana’s local food scene is with a visit to Greycliff Mill, between Bozeman and Billings. Greycliff Mill is housed in a restored 1760s barn, which features a water-powered gristmill and pretty scenery like ponds framed by rock formations. You may see bison wandering the site — there are five that live here. You may also catch a glimpse of a 10-foot-tall bear, but no need to panic as it’s only a statue, carved by a chainsaw. The pretty cafe, a mix of modern and rustic decor, serves from a menu that includes coffee, milkshakes, and pastries, plus paninis like “The Cattleman” and breakfast sandwiches like the “Sheepherders Sandwich.” Book in advance for a special farm-to-table dinner in the evening — these are only offered on select dates throughout the year, and may sell out. But one thing you shouldn’t miss here is the cheese cave.

Greycliff Mill has an underground cheese cave, which is a must-see on any visit.
