Greg Sundberg promoted to deputy athletics director at Montana

MISSOULA — Longtime College of Montana athletic administrator Greg Sundberg has been promoted to deputy athletics director, introduced Kent Haslam, director of athletics at Montana.

Sundberg will proceed to supervise Montana’s exterior operations departments – communications, advertising and ticket gross sales – whereas additionally spearheading fundraising as the manager director for the Grizzly Scholarship Affiliation (GSA). Moreover, Sundberg supervises the sports activities of males’s and girls’s tennis and girls’s golf whereas additionally overseeing athletic coaching and energy and conditioning.

A Nice Falls native, Sundberg graduated from UM in 2001 with a bachelor’s diploma in enterprise administration. He earned his grasp’s diploma in enterprise administration, once more from Montana, in 2004.

Now in his third decade with Grizzly Athletics, Sundberg began his profession as a communications intern in 2001 earlier than elevating to assistant director of selling (2001-03). Sundberg earned an affiliate athletics director title in 2012 earlier than being promoted to senior affiliate athletics director in 2015.
