Pair Arrested After Idaho County K9 Helps Deputies Locate Methamphetamine During Traffic Stop

GRANGEVILLE – On Friday, August 19, 2022, at roughly 6:00 p.m., deputies with the Idaho County Sheriff’s Workplace have been on routine patrol in Grangeville once they pulled a car over for a car for a site visitors violation.

In keeping with a launch from the Idaho County Sheriff’s Workplace, in the course of the cease, Idaho County K9 Mic alerted on the car and a subsequent search was carried out. 

In the course of the search, officers reportedly situated methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Consequently, 71-year-old John Utz and 65-year-old Cynthia Cox, each of Grangeville, have been arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
