WHITE BIRD, ID – On Friday, February 17, 2023, at round 12:00 p.m., Idaho County Deputies responded to the White Hen space after receiving a report of a suspicious male who had been parked within the car parking zone since 7:30 a.m.
After arriving on scene deputies made contact with the male inside the van, recognized as 68-year-old Charles Klew, of John Day, Oregon. In response to a press launch from the Idaho County Sheriff’s Workplace, after additional investigation Klew was discovered to be in possession of narcotics and subsequently arrested.
Klew was charged with felony Possession of Methamphetamine, in addition to possession of a managed substance with out a prescription, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and driving whereas beneath the affect, all misdemeanors.
Klew is scheduled to be arraigned at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
