LEWISTON – In line with court docket paperwork, the person accused of operating over a 41-year-old feminine in Lewiston on Saturday evening had been convicted of DUI 5 different occasions.
36-year-old Jonathan Evans was convicted on DUI expenses in 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2013. The 2013 conviction was for Felony DUI, in response to the paperwork.
On Saturday, February 4, at round 11:52 p.m., Lewiston Police responded to a car versus pedestrian crash in a parking zone close to the 1900 block of ninth Ave. The parking space is close to Whitman Elementary Faculty.
Officers decided Evans, of Lewiston, tried to go away a celebration in his pickup truck after he allegedly instigated a bodily dispute.
A 41-year-old feminine reportedly informed Evans he was too intoxicated to drive and tried to stop him from leaving in his car. She was standing close to the driving force aspect door when Evans allegedly ran her over.
The girl was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Heart with critical accidents. Evans was arrested for aggravated driving inebriated, a felony, and booked into the Nez Perce County Jail.
Evans made his first court docket look on Monday, the place bond was set at $150,000. As of early Tuesday morning, bond had not been posted.
