Filer Lady Wildcats win conference opener; Thursday Idaho prep scores

FILER, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Filer Lady Wildcats (3-2) kicked off 4A Sawtooth Central Idaho Conference play with a home game against the Buhl Indians (2-3).

Senior Reese Hills scored Filer’s opening six points. She would finish with a double-double of 14 points.

Junior guard Tanli LeMoyne was a sharpshooter throughout the matchup, finishing with 13 points on four three-pointers.

Filer led at the half 23-18.

Buhl’s Liesl Kimball and Addy Vulgamore kept the Indians in it.

The Wildcats would outscore Buhl 17-6 in the fourth quarter on the way to a 51-36 win.

Junior’s Aubrey Westling and Brooke Paker would add eight and six points respectively in the win.

Filer is back in action on Dec. 12 for a matchup with the Kimberly Bulldogs on the road.

Buhl will host Melba on Saturday.
