4 killed in collision with truck in Idaho

DRIGGS, Idaho — Four people were killed in a crash on state Highway 33 near Driggs, Idaho, when a car crossed the center line on Friday night.

At least three of the deceased are from Utah, Idaho State Police said.

At 9:49 p.m. Friday, a 46-year-old woman from Mantua was driving a 2022 Tesla eastbound west of Driggs when her car crossed the center line, hitting a 2007 Kenworth commercial truck driven by a 44-year-old man from Rexburg, according to a news release from Idaho State Police.

The driver and three passengers in the Tesla were killed, including a 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, both from Kaysville, and a juvenile, according to police. Their identities have not been released.

Officers said all occupants of the Tesla and the commercial truck were wearing seatbelts.

The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
