Quarterhill said Wednesday that its subsidiary has been awarded a 13.7 million Canadian dollar contract ($10.1 million) in Hawaii to provide continuous traffic monitoring data collection goods and services across the state.
The company’s wholly owned subsidiary International Road Dynamics will be responsible for the operation, data collection, data reporting, maintenance and repair of all existing systems of the Hawaii Department of Transportation data CTM sites.
Currently, there are there are 91 CTM sites in operation in the state, and Quarterhill said additional sites will be added during the term of the project.
