Public invited to participate in CERT training – West Hawaii Today

Free to the general public, Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency has scheduled a two-day Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training course from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, at the Discovery Harbour Community Center, 94-1604 Makalii St, Naalehu.

Free to the general public, Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency has scheduled a two-day Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training course from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, at the Discovery Harbour Community Center, 94-1604 Makalii St, Naalehu.

This is an in-depth FEMA emergency response training class designed to empower participants and their communities about how to best respond to an emergency or disaster.

To register for this class, please email hawaiicert@gmail.com with your name and phone number. Registration will close on Friday, March 22.
