Public input sought for Hawaii County’s Affordable Housing Production Program

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The County of Hawaii’s Office of Housing and Community Development is seeking local input on the island’s housing needs for the Affordable Housing Production Program.

Hawaii Island residents will also have the opportunity to share thoughts on how next year’s fiscal funds will be spent.

Residents can attend two public meetings this week.

A virtual-only meeting will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 12, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

An in-person meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Mar. 13, at 5 p.m. located at 1990 Kinoʻole St., Suite 104 in Hilo. Residents who are unable to attend Thursday’s meeting in-person may attend via a Zoom link.

Residents can also participate in an online survey regarding the matter. All responses will remain anonymous.
