Owner offers $5,000 for tips after motorhome, vehicle stolen on Hawaii Island

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The house owners of a big cellular dwelling are asking for the general public’s assist after their autos had been stolen on Hawaii Island in June.

Alicia Martinez’s motorhome was parked in Ocean View close to the intersection of Paradise and Lei Parkways when it was stolen on June 27. Her Subaru Outback was stolen simply the day earlier than.

Martinez and her husband are part-time Kona residents who break up their time between Kona and Alaska.

“You understand once you respect the place you reside, you welcome others. And that’s what I hoped,” mentioned Martinez.

She added “This doesn’t really feel like a welcome in any respect. It simply looks like an invasion, a way of you’re not welcome.”

The motorhome is a white 1999 Vacation Rambler Endeavor roughly 38 ft lengthy. It’s license plate is ZKX909.

The second stolen automobile is a blue Subaru Outback. The license plate is ZKR588.

The house owners are providing $5,000 for any ideas resulting in the automobile being returned.
