Massive drug bust on Hawaii Island nets more than 12 lbs. of meth

KAILUA-KONA (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii County Police seized more than 12 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, nearly two pounds of marijuana, three ounces of cocaine and 19 Oxycodone pills during a raid on Thursday.

William Kaohu, 54, was charged with 13 offenses after the massive drug bust in his Kailua-Kona home .

Police also found a rifle, ammunition and $21,000 in cash.

Bail for Kaohu was set at nearly $670,000.
