HPD responds to reported double shooting in Waianae that left 2 teens seriously wounded
WAIANAE (HawaiiNewsNow) – For the second night in a row, Honolulu police responded to a shooting incident in Waianae.
According to Honolulu EMS, a 15-year-old male was treated for apparent gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body at about 8:30 p.m. on Ala Akau Street. Paramedics administered advanced life support and transported the teen to an emergency room in serious condition.
EMS said at 8:35 p.m., a 19-year-old male walked up to the Waianae EMS unit, where he was treated for multiple gunshot wounds before also being transported to an emergency room in serious condition.
EMS said it was unknown where the second teen was wounded.
No arrests have been made yet.
The investigation is ongoing.
This shooting comes a day after officers shot and killed a suspect accused of firing several rounds at several people in Waianae Valley.
