Hawaii Island police charge Kea’au man with multiple firearms offenses
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii Island police have charged a Kea’au man with an array of firearms offenses and violation of a court order.
Officials said the 31-year-old Dylan Jessen Gapp was charged on Friday with over 10 counts of firearms-related charges and two counts of violation of an order for protection.
Authorities say the total bail for these charges was set at $67,000.
Officials say Gapp was also arrested and charged on the strength of a warrant for the offense of Failure to Appear, stemming from a previous terroristic threatening case.
Police say his bail for the warrant was set at $10,000.
