Hawaii County announces free bus rides for the next 2 years

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii County introduced Friday that each one Hele-On rides shall be fare-free for the following two and half years.

In line with the division, the County Mass Transit Company obtained $4.5 million in COVID aid and virtually $2 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds.

Officers added, the cash doesn’t must be repaid to the federal authorities.
