HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The lava viewing space car parking zone on Previous Saddle Street has been closed amid an ongoing police investigation, Hawaii County police mentioned.

The closure began about midday Sunday.

Authorities say an unexploded ordnance pressured the closure.

HEMA reminds the general public to remain on the street and to not strategy the lava stream.
