Man in custody after Denver police find deceased woman in stairwell
DENVER — A person is being investigated for first-degree homicide after a lady was discovered deceased in a stairwell in Denver on Saturday morning.
On Saturday round 8:15 a.m., police responded to E. sixteenth Avenue and Broadway after receiving a report that an individual was unconscious in a stairwell.
When officers arrived, they discovered a deceased girl.
Throughout the subsequent investigation, police recognized Innis Lee Collins, 38, because the suspect.
Collins was taken into custody on Tuesday for investigation of first-degree homicide. The Denver District Lawyer’s Workplace will decide formal costs.
