Pedestrian with life-threatening injuries after crash with car in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – An auto-pedestrian crash is under investigation in Colorado Springs.

Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to Circle and Winnepeg, east of downtown Colorado Springs, for a crash with a pedestrian and car. Emergency crews took the pedestrian to the hospital, who has life-threatening injuries.

Police say the driver remained on scene and cooperated with officers during the investigation. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.

The area was closed during investigation. We will update this article as we learn more.
