I-25 northbound closed south of Colorado Springs Friday morning

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – I-25 northbound was closed Friday morning because of a semi that went off the road and into a ditch.

The closure was put in place near Exit 128 at about 5:45 a.m. a little while after the semi lost control. According to the Colorado State Patrol, there were no serious injuries to report but the position of the semi and trailers made it hard to clear.

11 News spoke to at least one person whose spouse was stuck in the closure since about 4:30 a.m.
