Crash closes Airport Road in Colorado Springs Tuesday
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A crash closed a busy roadway in Colorado Springs on Tuesday.
At about 10:55 a.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) posted the following to social media:
“CSPD and CSFD on scene of an accident at Airport and Academy. Airport is shut down both east and westbound.”
The intersection is on the southeast side of the city.
According to a sergeant with CSPD, there were no life-threatening injuries in the crash. An officer was in the area when the crash happened at about 10:42 a.m.
This article may or may not be updated depending on the circumstances of the crash. The purpose of this article was to alert the public to a major roadway being closed.
