Busy Colorado Springs intersection back open Tuesday morning after motorcycle, car crash
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A busy intersection is again open after a motorbike and automobile collided.
The Colorado Springs Police Division responded to a motorbike versus automobile crash at Murray and Platte round 9 p.m. Monday. Officers say the automobile was making a left flip from westbound Platte Ave onto southbound Murray Blvd. The bike was touring east on Platte Ave and the automobiles collided within the intersection.
The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital with critical life-threatening accidents. The intersection was closed for about 5 hours in a single day, however has since reopened.
