Moab • Two people are dead following an aircraft crash Wednesday in a remote area near the Colorado border in Grand County, according to a social media post from the Grand County Sheriff’s office.
Deputies and EMS are on scene.
According to the sheriff’s office, the airplane was chartered and en route to Tacoma, Wash., from Grand Junction Regional Airport. The plane, a Hawker 900XP, was carrying a pilot and their second in command.
Their names will be released after relatives are notified.
