GARDENA, Calif. (KABC) — New video shows a daring rescue by California Highway Patrol officers in Gardena.

Dashcam and bodycam videos show the officers rescuing a driver from a burning vehicle earlier this year on July 3.

According to CHP South Los Angeles, the officers were on routine patrol when they came across a single-vehicle crash into a tree on the 110 Freeway near Del Amo Boulevard. The car was almost fully engulfed in flames.
