Teenage boy dead in California Neighborhood double shooting
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A teenager is dead and another person is in the hospital after a double shooting in the California neighborhood Saturday.
The Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a call of a shooting in the 1600 block of Gallagher Street around 9:15pm on Feb. 8. Officers arrived to find a teenager who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD said a short time later a second shooting victim, a male, was located near the intersection of 9th Street and Cawthon Street. He was taken to University Hospital with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said no arrests have been made.
